●        The type of government-issued photo ID you plan to present (we do not store a copy of your ID; it is only verified in person at the time of the appointment, as required by Illinois notary law)

●        Payment method and transaction details, processed through our scheduling platform's secure payment processor — we do not directly store your full card number

●        Basic website usage data (such as pages visited and browser type) via cookies and analytics tools built into our website and scheduling platform

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

●        Schedule, confirm, and manage your appointment

●        Verify your identity in person, as required for notarial acts under Illinois law

●        Communicate with you about your appointment, including confirmations, reminders, and follow-ups

●        Process payment for services rendered

●        Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form

●        Maintain our own business and notarial records, including the notary journal required by Illinois law (kept separately and securely, not published or shared except as required by law or legal process)

We retain appointment and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business and tax records, and comply with Illinois notary recordkeeping requirements. Our notary journal is retained per Illinois law regardless of any request to delete other business records.
